About Fire & Stone Italian Pizza Kitchen - Woodstock

Located in downtown Woodstock, Ga at the old Train Depot!

Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (678) 744-2099. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, fireandstonekitchen.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 232 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian restaurant in Woodstock and suggests consistent service.

Woodstock is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Woodstock follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Pizza so good we dined here twice in the same weekend. (Not kidding!) Fire and Stone is INSANELY good. My partner (who's a self proclaimed pasta snob) also loves their pasta. My favorite it the La Nonna, adding mushrooms. The Spinach and Arugula Salad is also a must, in my opinion.

Located in the old train depot in downtown Woodstock. Great location on the main corner. Right next to the free parking garage and right across from the amphitheater. The pizza πŸ• was phenomenal. The meatballs were delicious. Great ambiance and decor. Indoor, outdoor and trackside seating. Julie was fantastic, very attentive and gave her personal favorites off the menu. Great addition to the Woodstock dining scene.

Had a great experience for lunch with my two young kids. Fantastic service, beautiful venue with unique features, great variety on the menu and fair prices. The food was delicious. The kids devoured the cheese pizza with its pillowy crust and bright tomato sauce and I loved the spinach salad with chunks of chicken and the homemade Italian dressing was herbaceous and smooth.

This place needs a lesson in hospitality. I brought a group of guests to Fire & Stone last night - our party of 7 included two seniors & a toddler. As we approached the restaurant, we noticed an ideal table in a shaded (less busy) area near the turf space where children can play …perfect for our group. Unfortunately, when we requested that table, the gentleman acting as host (who didn’t bother to greet us upon arrival) denied the request - twice - without explanation. Instead, we were seated on the opposite side in a cramped, busy area facing the setting sun. It was uncomfortably hot, with the sun directly in our faces. We were not dressed for outdoor sun exposure, & had it not been for a hungry toddler, we likely would have left at that point. In hindsight, we should have - especially given that previous reviewers have had similar experiences. As for the food, the salads were decent, but two of the three large pizzas we ordered had noticeably scorched black bottoms & dry crusts. See pic. I live within walking distance & wanted to support this restaurant, but hospitality matters most to me. Guest comfort & basic service should be top priority, especially for a newer establishmen

Honestly, I have ZERO complaints about our experience at Fire and Stone tonight. The pizza is phenomenal, service was amazing. We waited about 30-40 minutes so, average for a Friday night in Woodstock. Our server was very friendly and helpful, gave great recommendations and was there when we needed anything. As for the pizza itself…. The crust is phenomenally done. Flavors are very balanced, sauce is very fresh, and crust is the perfect Neapolitan blend of airy and crisp without being crunch or dense. Will 100% be going back and cannot recommend it enough.
